Requirements for OFW 's Applying for Credit Card

In case some of our fellow OFW 's are wondering what the requirements are when applying for OFW credit cards, check out the list below. I got the documents sent to me by 3 major Philippine banks from the Philippines while as was working in Saudi Arabia.



OFW CREDIT CARD APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

1. Personal Identifications
a. Passport
b. Driver's License
c. SSS photocard
d. Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) ID

2. Certificate of employment or contract of employment; and

3. OFW working visa or OFW work permit issued in the country of residence, OFW card issued by the POEA or POEA certificate



Be sure that before filling up any form, whether you are applying for credit card online, personal or through postal mail, prepare the necessary documents first. The items listed above are just the basic credit card application requirements for OFW. Oftentimes, they areenough but you can never be sure which of the documents you submitted will be validated by the application reviewers. If you can provide more documents that will prove your identity, employment status and salary eligibility then better include it in your application. "The more the merrier" sabi nga nila he he.


DONT SEND ORIGINAL COPIES OF THE OFW DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS!


Have all the documents that you will be using for your credit card application photocopied and make sure each copy is photocopied back to back, clearly and that all important texts are visible especially important numbers like ID numbers, name and photos.
